Some random student’s 2020 summary.

The weirdest, hardest, scariest, questionably okay-ish (?) year that We all had to go through.

The end of the year draws near, and so, here I am…to talk about what I, a…fresh student, had to go through to get to this point.

The beginning of the year was insanely stressful. Imagine being a non-talkative, shy school boy who gets constantly bullied, but not because you are weaker, oh no…but because those bullies want your attention, for they know that YOU are better than them in all regards (from looks, to intelligence, to morality, and family). Now extend that for 11 years and you will see my school experience…it was horrible.

But the last school year, the eleventh year, is a Russian student’s horrible nightmare. Why ? — State exams, nothing more, nothing less. Couple that with the spread of the “newly” found virus at the time (covid) and you get the worst possible mixture for readying up for S-T-A-T-E exams.

That’s what most Russian school students had to endure, as did I.

Then comes another worry. Will the university take me ? I had amazing achievements in my life, usually related to languages and sometimes history. Had many a rewards and even managed to get first place on a prestigious international exam. — thankfully..The university did. God sure is on my side, and I am thankful for that.

Even worse, the Russian commissariat, the bane of most male Russian teenagers. Imagine…being forcefully drawn into army service. Well, it…didn’t really happen for me, I had to go through multiple health checks to finally make a verdict (which is…STILL NOT FINAL, amazing) about my service group, etc. But that’s not the worst of it. The most hated part of it is that I miss out on important lectures…even exams because of it. Oh well, nature has spoken, I guess.

But honestly ? this year wasn’t that bad. Sure, the spread of the virus caused all of the ruckus, but most of the time people follow “mob mentality” on such matters and once some people panic, others will do as well. I understand that situations vary in different countries, but still…this is, basically, a new normal for us that we have to go through. Anyway…

As I was saying, things are…not that bad. New paths, new roads, new advancements — life goes on ! And so shall we. In my case…and entire road of possibilities has opened, one which I intend to explore with care and affection (as I stated in my previous posts, I am an ambitions person, one who wishes to be an incredible politician, a true, charismatic “leader” of sorts). And I am happy that the god gives me such..possibilities.

in any case, I hope you had a good read, my loverly friend. Never give up and always strive forward, endure all of the challenges (as did I) and you will find victory in your grasp no matter what.

Have a good new year…and good luck !
